A shop-vac gets the visible puddle. Our Water Extraction process is built for what's still soaking into materials underneath, which is where the real damage lives.

Different surfaces hold water differently — concrete, hardwood, and carpet pad each need their own extraction technique and dwell time, not a single generic approach applied to all three.
None of this changes for a small job either — the same standard applies whether it's a single-room water extraction call or a larger one.
We built this list around what typically goes wrong when water extraction gets handled by a generalist instead of a specialist.
Commercial extraction units outpull portable equipment on every surface type we work with.
A job isn't finished until moisture readings confirm it, not a visual pass-through.
Local staging near Baker cuts the wait between your call and equipment arriving.
You know the number before extraction starts, based on what we actually find.
We don't treat water extraction as a single generic task — each piece of the process below gets its own specific approach.
Standing water comes out first, then detailed extraction moves into carpet, pad, and seams.
We adjust technique for engineered versus solid hardwood, since they respond differently to moisture.
We weigh larger sections before and after extraction to confirm actual moisture removal.
Slab surfaces absorb and release moisture on a different timeline than wood subfloor.
We flag salvageable contents before starting so you're not guessing what to keep.
A final moisture sweep confirms target levels were actually reached before we leave.
Four steps, no guesswork, from your first call to a verified water extraction result.
A real person answers, asks a few fast questions, and routes the nearest available crew.
The truck that arrives is stocked specifically for Water Extraction jobs, not a generic handyman setup.
The assessment sets the whole plan, so we don't rush it even when the visible damage looks minor.
We stand behind the result with a documented sign-off, not just a verbal assurance.
We don't cherry-pick which water extraction jobs get reviewed — this is a representative cross-section.
"They pulled water from between our hardwood boards without warping them further, which I honestly didn't think was possible."
Jasper L., Baker"Our office flooded overnight and extraction was finished before staff walked in for the morning shift."
Rosalind P., Baker"Extraction from our finished basement slab was handled with a completely different approach than I expected, and they explained why."
Micah S., Baker"The pad testing caught moisture the carpet surface alone never would have revealed."
Fernanda Q., Baker"Extraction under a built-in bookshelf unit was handled without us having to empty and move it ourselves first."
Zora P., BakerThese are the questions we hear most often about water extraction, gathered from real calls, not a generic template list.
Our water extraction coverage spans 70714 70704, with crews positioned to reach any address in the service area quickly.
Coverage extends past the immediate area, so an outlying Baker address isn't treated as a lower priority for water extraction.
If you're unsure whether your address falls in our water extraction service area, just call — we'll confirm quickly rather than making you guess.
